PRODUCE MARKET REPORT

OVERVIEW

MARKET REVIEW

Regional Production Highlights - Week of April 11th:

Overview:

The produce industry is transitioning from desert regions to Salinas, causing temporary slowdowns and tighter supply, which is driving up prices for items like lettuce, broccoli, celery, and Brussels sprouts.

Broccoli is especially limited but good quality, strawberries are plentiful with mixed pricing, other berries are scarce, and citrus is shifting varieties with tight lemon supply; overall, markets are firm but expected to stabilize.

Weather:

Florida will be mostly warm and dry with some isolated showers and breezy conditions.

California will see light rain early in the week followed by clearing and warmer temperatures.

Arizona is warming up with windy conditions easing by Sunday.

Mexico will have isolated showers early in the week with mild to warm temperatures.
